Leisure Uses For Shipping Containers

Everybody knows just how versatile shipment containers can be. They will have been used to build schools, hotels, homes and just about any other kind of building possible! To show their adaptability earlier on this yr we wrote 7 Unexpected Purposes of Shipping Container.

Today you want to give attention to the  Leisure uses of shipping containers from art studios to Studio homes, you will find lots of creative uses for shipping containers below! This will form our growing collection , which also includes the  Shipping and delivery Container Offices.

Container Beach Retreat

The 'SurfShack' made from a recycled 20 ft Shipping Container.

The outside of the container has been still left un-touched, has completely stolen the inside of the container, and made some clever use of the space inside.
The SurfShack is including a kitchen and bathroom as well as a master bedroom which is located in the bottom of the container.

The camping container was built using a 20 foot shipping container and can sleep a family of four.

Bar Container,The ‘container’ bar is spread out over two levels and creates some unique outdoor and indoor spaces- most notably the internal courtyard which is covered by a floating roof. Each container has its own unique theme so when you move throughout the bar you are immediately transported into completely different vibes.

Container Café

built from the ground up with sustainability in mind, from the upcycled shipping container to the greywater collection system through to the bio-based spray foam insulation.
The café is fixed onto wheels so it can be moved around if needed- We think it would make a great portable café for festivals and summer events

The entire studio was made using a single 40 foot container- however its designer Jim Poteet, has managed to fit inside it a lounge, bathroom and tiny kitchen/worktop area.
The large windows provide an impressive amount of light and we really like the green garden growing on the roof.
